Volunteer Assessor Training Module (VAT 1.1)

Volunteer Assessors will be working with individuals who are looking for support in finding volunteer opportunities. We will work with prospective volunteers to find place-based volunteer opportunities that match their interests, skills, and motivations for volunteering. Support is provided by volunteer assessors such as contacting organisations on behalf of the volunteers if requested and assess if the role is suitable for them.

  • Understand the process of the volunteer assessor and how to find volunteering opportunities
  • Explain the differences in the process between an independent and supported registration
