What is my Governance Role? (BMI 1.1)

In this module, participants will be introduced to the key concepts related to becoming or acting as a current Board or Committee Member, within the context of Not for Profit (NFP) organisations.

The theme of Good Governance ties together the foundation of good systems, people, documentation, and organisational practices which underscore how an NFP board or committee member manages governance.

  • What you need to do as a Board member to assure yourself that the organisation is well governed.
  • What is governance and the role of Directors
  • What are the governance roles of a Board and how to easily understand them
