Disability Inclusion - Implementation (ORG 1.4)

This is the fourth module of the diversity and inclusion course. In this module case studies are used to guide participants through real life examples of organisations that have committed to employing people living with disability.

Learning Intentions:

The learning intentions for the disability Inclusion; Implementation are for the participants to:

  • Learn how DES can help your business hire inclusively and access support and resources.
  • Be exposed to different pathways organisations have taken to employ someone living with a disability.
  • Reflect on the perspective of someone with a disability who is looking for employment.
  • Be aware of challenges and benefits of employing someone with a disability.
  • Reflect on steps their organisation could take to employ someone living with a disability.
