Understanding Diversity and Inclusion (ORG 1.1)

Welcome to the Understanding Diversity and Inclusion Module. This module introduces key concepts of diversity in the workplace. Participants will be encouraged to consider their own experience and intersections of diversity, as well as considering how they can contribute towards an inclusive workplace.

Learning Intentions:

  • Understand what diversity and inclusion mean in the workplace context, and why it is important
  • Reflect on the multifaceted aspects of diversity
  • Be aware of what unique lived experience they might personally bring to the workplace
  • Understand unconscious bias and how it can manifest in the workplace
