Disability Inclusion Preparation (ORG 1.3)

This is the second of a three-module course that introduces the key components of an inclusive workplace and the tools required to conduct an audit of inclusivity. Participants will be taken through the next steps towards implementation including a disability action plan.

Learning Intentions:

  • Understand the key components and considerations required for creating an accessible and inclusive workplace
  • Be aware of the different categories of disability and reflect on which classifications are likely to best suit the potential roles in their organisation
  • Be familiar with legislation and support structures associated with inclusive workplaces
  • Understand the status of their organisation is in relation to being inclusive
  • Be introduced to a Disability Action Plan
