Volunteering as a Young Person (IND 1.1)

This module introduces volunteering to young people. Learn about the benefits of volunteering, different types of volunteering, and why engaging in volunteering is a valuable choice for young people. This module leads into modules 1.2 Preparing yourself to volunteer and 1.3 Volunteering as a pathway to study and employment.

Learning Intentions

The learning intentions for 'Volunteering For Young People' are for you to:

  • Develop an awareness of the value and benefit of volunteering as a young person
  • Explore your interests and passion for volunteering
  • Be aware of where you can start looking for a volunteer opportunity
